Enabling Adobe Reader for PDF Forms

By default, Adobe PDF forms can be filled out, but not saved, inside of Adobe Reader. This behavior can be changed, but it requires Adobe Acrobat.

To enable your Adobe PDF Form to be filled out in Adobe Reader (and saved), do the following:

  • Open the form in Adobe Acrobat
  • Click Advanced, Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader ..
  • Click Save Now

Your PDF form can now be distributed so users can save the filled out PDF form and then email/upload the form. 

If you don't have a copy of Adobe Acrobat, email your PDF, and I'll enable it and send it back to you.
